During 2017 and 2018 Sucroal implemented a strategic redirect with the main objective of improving competitiveness with a clear focus on the client, strengthening the structures of the commercial areas and support areas and having as a great differentiator the value proposition.


We are committed to the sustainable development of our planet, transforming renewable resources and guaranteeing the protection of the environment.

Our operations are developed within the concepts of social responsibility, rational use of natural resources and continuous improvement, using prevention as a fundamental criterion for the search for protection and preservation of the environment, exceeding existing legal regulations.

In 2018 Sucroal made the inventory of Greenhouse Gases, within its strategy of reducing the carbon footprint, thus aligning itself with global efforts to combat climate change.


Sucroal seeks to produce a positive social impact on health and education. In education, the company has been linked to the Transcend Foundation since 2000, whose social purpose is the development of a pilot plan for the formation of principles and values ​​of children in strata 1 and 2, through contributions.

The Company supports the work of the educator Lucero Rengifo Vega, who leads the Foundation that bears the same name and performs social work in education, health, recreation and improvement in the quality of life of the inhabitants of the Aguablanca District, in Cali.

The Company made contributions to foundations and non-profit institutions, which develop welfare programs aimed at improving the quality of life of children and the elderly in the region, such as: Elder’s Welfare Center, Casa del Mendigo (House of the beggar) of Palmira, Vicentina Luisa de Marillac Foundation, San Vicente de Paúl Association of Corinto (a small town), El Refugio Ancianato (a Foundation for the Elderly) and The Golden Age Geriatric Home.

The Company has been adhered to the Global Pact since November 2010 and in 2012 it prepared its first GRI sustainability report. Sucroal annually publishes its progress report on the Global Pact website, a document that supports its commitment to align its strategies and operations for compliance with the 10 principles of the Global Pact.
