As Sucroquimica Colombiana, an initiative of sugar mills and the IFI* (Industrial Advocacy Institution- by its acronym in Spanish*) to provide sugar an added value.

Sucromiles

1971

Sucromiles is born when Miles Lab. bought 51% and the citric acid offer begins.

Bayer-Sucromiles

1978

Greater leverage, Bayer bought Miles Lab. at a global level, bringing development, state-of-the-art processes and technology, and then the scents and flavor business began

ARDILA LULLE ORGANIZATION

1980

With its vertical business strategy vision, it bought Incauca S.A.S, and became Sucromiles shareholder.

GREATER LEVERAGE

1990

OAL bought stocks from the other sugar mills, keeping 49% of Sucromiles thus providing greater financial leverage.

Tate & Lyle

1998

Bayer sold its international citric business to Tate & Lyle which kept 51% of Sucromiles, bringing international market and distribution knowledge.

WE ARE OAL

2012

Tate & Lyle sold 51% to OAL, 100% Colombian.
